Weekly News 24.01.20

Great week Kestrels.  We have really enjoyed learning about Tutankhamun this week as we moved along our timeline journey.  The children used their historical skills to use artefacts to make assumptions about the Egyptian king and his life.  We then considered the curses linked to the opening of the tomb and researched how they may well have been co-incidence rather fact.  In maths, we have worked on learning time in both 12 hour and 24 hour clock.  Some children commented how in this digital age, they rarely see an analogue clock!  We completed our journey through the decades in dance, and the children particularly enjoyed taking part in the 70's disco routines!  Young Voices is next week and we are really looking forward to it. We hope many parents are able to join us.
