Robins 2018 - 2019

Miss Thompson

Welcome to Robins

Our week

On Wednesday we will have P.E in the morning and woodlands in the afternoon

On Wednesday you can come to school in your woodland clothes.

On Friday you will be able to change your reading books for the weekend.

Welcome to our Spring term and our new topic;

Things with wing that dont fly

This term our whole school topic is Things with wings.

The Key stage 1 team have decided to look at animals that have wings but don’t fly.

This will take us to the Polar Regions to look at the animals and humans that live in these cold climates.

The topic will be based around information texts and we will also use David Walliams’s story ‘Geronimo, the penguin who thought he could fly’ and ‘Blown away’ by Rob Biddulph.

Along the way we use our curriculum to looks at the different aspect of our topic and this can be viewed on our topic overview.

Thanks again

Miss Thompson

Representing Robins on the school council is Luke Woolnough.
